Take a peek inside
our creative world
My blog grew out of years of journaling, reflection, and a desire to make sense of life’s transitions through writing. What began in 2019 as a series of Facebook posts—Mental Muscle Monday, Wellness Wednesday, and Foodie Friday—grew up and evolved into the desire to share with a wider audience.
The past couple years was spent regrouping, navigating a new chapter of life, learning to live with intent and make bucket list dreams come to fruition. My book was one of these, and so is my developing devotion to more writing.
Here, you’ll find reflective essays rooted in everyday experiences, personal growth, and curiosity. My writing is contemplative, honest, and occasionally humorous, offering perspective on change, creativity, wellness, and the small moments that matter.
One recurring series, The Vintage Cake Project, uses classic baking as a creative lens for exploring meaning, life lessons, and perhaps a little whimsy. The cakes provide the inspiration, but the stories go beyond the batter.
You’ll also find posts about adventures, bucket list goals, creative projects, and the ongoing process of learning, evolving, and choosing a life shaped by intention. You might even hear about greyhounds.
If you’re drawn to reflection, storytelling, and finding meaning in ordinary moments, dig into my blog.
Big Ideas, Real Impact.
My first book was born of the collision between a bucket list dream and more than a year spent searching for harmony and answers to what midlife dropped at my feet.
In a nutshell, it’s a reflection on the often silent realities of midlife women—hormones, overwhelm, and quiet struggles. Through personal experience and research, Of That Age encourages self-compassion, re-evaluation, connection, and blooming into a new era, with the hope that women (of all ages) feel seen and empowered to pursue wellness and goals, with a little humor woven in.
